Una casa con espíritu cosmopolita/ A cosmopolite house

Este fin de semana la revista chilena Vivienda y Decoración de el periódico El Mercurio, ha dedicado su portada y un precioso reportaje a la casa de nuestra cofundadora Ana Ibáñez en Santiago. Os lo mostramos aquí paso a paso.

Last weekend the Chilean magazine Vivienda y Decoración from El Mercurio, has dedicated its cover and a beautiful article to our co-founder's, Ana Ibáñez, home in Santiago. We present it to you here.

Como no podía ser de otra manera, la impresionante alfombra PEAKS de Graviti Zone Rugs, diseñada por Ana tiene un lugar privilegiado en la casa. En la terraza muebles Driade Plie, diseñados por Ludovica y Roberto Palomba, que contrastan con el estilo de la casa. Tanto la alfombra como los muebles de terraza son de venta exclusiva en Interdesign.

Of course, the impressive PEAKS rug, designed by Ana for Graviti Zone Rugs enjoys a privileged area in the house. The Driade Plie chair, sofa and table at the terrace are designed by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba and contrast with the style of the building. Both the rug and the terrace furniture are sold exclusively in Chile by Interdesign.

En el comedor, la mesa y el banco han sido diseñados por Ana Ibáñez y fabricados por maestros carpinteros en Santiago. ¡Un auténtico lujo! Las sillas Tom Vac son de Ron Arad para Vitra. Los cojines son de Anthropologie y los candelabros de la tienda del Moma, ambas en Nueva York.

In the dining room, the table and the bank were designed by Ana Ibáñez and manufactured by master carpenter. Isn't it a real luxury!? The Tom Vac chairs designed by Ron Aras for Vitra. The cushions are from Anthropologie and the candelabra from Moma Store, both in New York.

En el salón destacan dos impresionantes sofás ideales para una confortable siesta, diseñados por Ana y fabricados en Santiago. En la foto inferior, Ana toma notas sentada sobre una alfombra GRASS en tonos arena, diseñada por Marivi Varadé para Graviti Zone Rugs.

In the living room the two impressive sofas are perfect for a comfortable nap. They were designed by Ana and manufactured in Santiago. In the photo, Ana makes some drafts sitting on a GRASS rug in sandy colors. Grass was designed by Marivi Varadé for Graviti Zone Rugs.

Graviti turns Vintage! II Graviti se vuelve Vintage II

Aquí tenéis una nueva muestra de Graviti Zone Rugs en su versión vintage. En este caso la alfombra COPO en color arena y azul índigo se complementa a la perfección con las dos mecedoras danesas de los años 50 restauradas y tapizadas por La Recova, calle Rodrigo de Guevara 6, Madrid y le da a este rincón de lectura un toque muy acogedor y cálido. La obra gráfica es de Cristina Moroño, artista madrileña afincada en Nueva York y la lámpara pertenece también de La Recova.

Here you have a new version of Graviti Zone Rugs in a vintage corner. In this case, COPO rug in sand and indigo colors complements perfectly with the two Danish rocking chairs from the 50's, restored and upholstered by La Recova, calle Rodrigo de Guevara 6, Madrid and gives this reading corner a cozy touch. The artwork belongs to Cristina Moroño, an artist from Madrid who currently lives in New York and the lamp was also purchased in La Recova.

Os presentamos un nuevo estilo para nuestras alfombras: vintage. Los 50 están de moda. Su estilismo vuelve a las pasarelas, series como Mad Men causan furor dentro y fuera de Estados Unidos y recuperamos los muebles de aquellos años marcados por grandes diseñadores y arquitectos.

A nosotras es estilo vintage nos encanta. Uno de nuestros paseos preferidos en Madrid consiste en recorrer los anticuarios cercanos al Rastro y curiosear entre los montones de pequeños tesoros que se pueden encontrar en ellos.

En un de nuestros paseos, descubrimos este precioso aparador diseñado por los daneses Tove & Edward Kind Larsen en los años 50 y adquirido en Ágora, calle Hermosilla 44, Madrid, y hemos decidido acompañarlo con nuestra alfombra COPO, diseñada por Marivi Varadé para Graviti Zone Rugs. ¿Verdad que la combinación es perfecta?

We present a new style for our rugs: vintage! The 50´s are fashionable again. Their style is back in the catwalks, Mad Men have thousands of fans inside and outside the US and we are getting back to the pieces of furniture of those years unforgettable for their great architects and designers.

We love vintage style. One of our favorite walks in Madrid is to visit the antique shops near El Rastro and look through all the little treasures they have.

In one of our walks, we discovered this beautiful sideboard designed by Tove & Edward Kind Larsen in the 50´s in Ágora, calle Hermosilla 44, Madrid and we decided to exhibit it with our COPO rug, designed by Marivi Varadé for Graviti Zone Rugs. Don't they look fantastic together?
