Hemos escogido nuestros diseños preferidos de la colección infantil para preparar una edición limitada de kilims tejidos a mano. Están hechos de forma totalmente artesanal con lana de Nueva Zelanda. We have selected our most representative kids’ designs and we have manufactured a limited edition of kilims 100% hand-crafted with New Zealand wool.  

Se trata de una colección cápsula exclusiva y de calidad exquisita con un número limitado de reproducciones. This is a capsule collection made with an outstanding quality and beautiful designs.

Elefante, Funky Monkey y Jirafas en tonos pastel y Cebras en colores flúor están ahora tejidos en una alfombra ligera, ideal para cualquier habitación infantil. Elefante, Funky Monkey and Jirafas made in pastel colors and Cebras in fluor are now hand-crafted in a light rug, perfect for every child’s room. 

Queríamos una alfombra ligera y fácil de mover, enrollar y cambiar de habitación siempre que quieras. Por eso nos hemos decidido por esta antigua técnica. ¡Aquí os las presentamos!: We were looking for a light rug, easy to pull, roll and move from a room to another whenever you want and so we decided for this ancient technique. But let’s present them:

Elefante es muy presumida y se ha empolvado de rosa. ¿No os parece que está guapísima? Elefante likes looking pretty and she has turned dusty pink. She looks amazing, don’t you think?

Quedará preciosa en la habitación de todos los niños y es súper fácil de doblar, mover y cambiar de sitio porque es ligera pero resistente y cálida. She will look wonderful in every child's room and it is really easy to fold and move around because it is light but still durable and warm.

¿Y qué me decís del color mint? Es suave, fresco, dulce e invita a soñar. Nos gusta tanto que hemos decidido vestir a nuestras Jirafas de verde menta para que llenen la habitación de los niños de luz, color y frescor. We love mint. It is fresh, smooth and inspiring. We like it so much that we have dressed our Jirafas in it. They will fill your child’s room with light, color and freshness. 

Funky monkey se ha hecho kilim y está feliz. Ahora puede jugar y saltar por todas partes mucho más ligerito. Seguro que se cuela en tu habitación y se acomoda ahí tan a gustito. Funky monkey is now a kilim and he is very happy. He can play and jump around very easily. He will surely slip into your room and make himself comfortable.

Y por último Cebras que se han escondido en un Kilim azul. Se creen que no las vemos y están muy quietas. ¿Las has encontrado? Te doy alguna pista. Se han vestido de un azul klein precioso. ¡Qué!, ¿ya las has visto? Our Cebras are hidden in a blue kilim. They are playing hide-and-seek and they think we cannot see them. Have you found them? I will help you. They are hidden in a beautiful klein blue. So, did you see them?

We are eager to show you our first kilim. We were looking for a lighter rug and we decided to manufacture our kid's collection with kilims made of New Zealand wool. 

Of course, we keep our bright colors and outstanding Quality. Kilims are easy to move, to roll and more affordable. And your kids will love it!

UNA ALFOMBRA ESPECIAL PARA UN BEBÉ ESPECIAL / A SPECIAL RUG FOR A SPECIAL BABY

Cada vez que diseñamos una alfombra para cada uno de nuestros clientes es  un momento único, lleno de complicidad, intercambio e ilusión. ¡Me encanta este proceso!

 

Pero a veces, hay clientes realmente especiales, a los que tenías ganas de conocer desde hace tanto tiempo que es un milagro el día que llegan. Ese es el caso de Olivia, una pequeña tan deseada y esperada como única. Vino desde Louisina hasta Nueva York para conocer a sus padres Cristina y Olivier, que están felicísimos de tenerla con ellos.

Por eso, cuando su madre me pidió una alfombra para su habitación me hizo muchísima ilusión poder formar parte su bonita historia. Su madre, Cristina, y yo escogimos los colores que mejor fueran con la decoración. Cristina es artista y muy exigente, así que no fue tarea fácil! pero  dimos con los colores adecuados y hoy por fin, la pequeña Olivia puede tumbarse feliz en su nueva alfombra Gota.

 

Estoy segura de que en breve ¡la veremos hacer la croqueta!

 

Designing a rug for a new customer is an unique moment, full of complicity, ideas and exciment. I love this part of the process!

 

But some clients are really special and you have been waiting for them for so long that you cannot believe when they finally arrive. Olivia is one of these special persons, who took her time to arrive at her parents' lifes what makes her unique. She came all the way from Louisiana to New York to meet Cristina and Olivier, her new parents and they are extremely happy.

That is why I was delighted when her Mum asked me to make a rug for her room. I loved being part of that beautiful story. Her Mum, Cristina, and I chose together the colors which best suited the decoration of her room. Cristina is an artist so she is not easy to please! But finally we found the perfect combination and today, little Olivia can enjoy her new Gota rug!

Uno de los emails más divertidos fue el que nos envió C. S. de Roma, porque a sus niños les gusta tanto su alfombra "El Arca de Noé" que ¡no dejan que nadie la pise!

One of the funniest emails was from C.S from Rome, because her kids liked their new rug "Noah's Arch" so much that they don't let anyone step on it!
